About Dr Ray
I am a Neurologist and headache specialist working in Melbourne, Australia.
I specialise in diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders. I have particular sub-specialty expertise in the management of a variety of headache disorders, including chronic migraine. My goal is to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient's unique needs.

I work clinically in my private rooms, and at Alfred Health and Austin Health in Melbourne. In addition to my clinical work, I lead headache research at Alfred Health, hold an academic position at the School of Translational Medicine, Monash University and teach medical students and junior doctors.

I provide private clinical consultations, diagnosis and treatment of neurological and headache disorders. In addition, I administer injectable therapies for chronic migraine, in accordance with PBS requirements.
My Education and Training
I obtained my medical degree from Monash University, Melbourne Australia. I worked as a doctor in training at the Royal Melbourne Hospital, before completing my neurology training at Austin Health and Alfred Health.

Following training I completed two years of sub-specialty fellowship in headache medicine - at the time, Australia's only fellow. I subsequently completed a PhD through Monash University entitled "Assessing the Morbidity of Migraine and its therapies", and remain one of only a couple of local neurologists to have completed a PhD in headache medicine.
